About Us

The practice has expanded to a team of six highly experienced vascular scientists providing long term support to some of the largest private hospitals in and around central London.

We advocate the use of top of the range ultrasound machines to provide comprehensive ultrasound reports on a wide range of peripheral vascular diseases for GPs, Physicians and Consultant Surgeons from all specialties.

Who We Are

London Vascular Services was set up in 2001 by Kate Sommerville and Elaine Young. Nicola Milburn took over Elaine Young’s directorship in 2014 when Elaine made the decision to move away from vascular ultrasound.

The ethos of London Vascular Services is to provide consistently excellent vascular ultrasound services to hospitals and clinics for both inpatients and outpatients, working closely with referrers from all specialities to provide the best service to patients and clinicians alike.

Our team have a combined experience of 90 years’ full time vascular ultrasound experience and have all trained and worked extensively in large teaching hospitals in London before joining London Vascular Services.
